Files structure

The template package you have downloaded consists of several folders. Let's see what each folder contains:

Screenshots - contains template screenshots. Not for production.
theme - contains WordPress theme files.
- lt-food restaurant_0.1.zip and lt-food restaurant-child_0.1.zip - this folder content all the necessary files for the theme.
license.txt - contains license details.
readme.txt - contain information about theme images path and font use and usage scritps.

Template installation

Template installation is very easy process.

All installation steps can be done within WordPress interface. It makes process comfortable and fast.

Step 1. Theme installation

Go to the menu Appearance > Themes and click the Add New Theme button.
Click the Upload link.
Click the Browse button and navigate to the unzipped template package on your computer.
Look for a file called lt-food restaurant.zip Click on it to select, then click OK.
Click the Install Now button and wait until the installation is complete.
Click the Activate link to change the current layout of the site to the theme your purchased.
Go to Appearance >> Customize >> LT settings.

Congratulations, your theme have been successfully installed!

Section Color/Font Pallete

Color/Font is very easy process.At a single glance of click you can set the color and fonts of the Headings,Paragrapgh and Buttons

Every individual section have an option to set the color pallete for Headings,Title/Text,Paragraph,Button Text and Button Background depending upon the number of option that are available in that respective section

How to set up homepage

Setup Home Page Template

Follow these instructions to setup Home page.

1. Create Page to set template: Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> Add New Page.
Label it "home" or anything as you wish. Then select template "home-page" from template dropdown.

2. Set the front page: Go to Setting -> Reading --> Set the front page display static page to home page

Once you have done with this you can see all the demo content on front page.

Setup Header

Follow these instructions to setup header.

For Slider: Go to Appearance >> Customize >> LT Settings >>Slider Settings >> Upload image,Add Title, Description & Link to Learn More.
For Site Name/Logo: Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Site Identity >> Here you can set Logo,Site Title,Tagline & Site Icon for your site.
For Navigation: See the Setup Navigation tab of this documentation.

Setup Services section

In order to proceed with Sevice Section,

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> LT Settings>> Services Section.

In this section you can set the Image, Section Title & Content of Services offered according to your site. Options here are further described according to the sections they belong to :

Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable / disable option.
Section Title Color & Font family Option: Contains title color and it's font family options.
Section Sub Title Color & Font family Option: Contains sub title color and it's font family options.
Section Short Line Color & Font family Option: Contains short line color and it's font family options.

Setup Special Selection section

Follow the below steps to customize this section

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> LT Settings>> Special Selection section.

In this section you can set the Background Image, Title,Sub-Title & Content. Add link to Order Now button through the customizer. It also have options to cutomize following things :

Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable / disable option.
Section Title Color & Font family Option: Contains title color and it's font family options.
Section Sub Title Color & Font family Option: Contains sub title color and it's font family options.
Section Big Line Color & Font family Option: Contains big line color and it's font family options.

Setup Our Menu Section

In order to proceed with Our Menu Section,

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> LT Settings>> Our Menu Section.

As Our Menu section have the six tabs to show. "Chicken", "Chillies", "Drinks", "Fruits", "Noodles" and "Salad". You can add description, images, price, title & content of each tab in customizer. So you can select your own menu, add it's title to show in a specific tab. You can also set number of menus you would like to display. Options here are further described according to the sections they belong to :

Section Title Color & Font family Option: Contains title color and it's font family options.
Section Sub Title Color & Font family Option: Contains sub title color and it's font family options.
Section Short Line Color & Font family Option: Contains short line color and it's font family options.

Setup Meet Our Chefs Section

In order to proceed with Our Chefs Section, First you will need to add and activate LT Food Restaurant Posttype plugin for team and it's description. Click here to configure this plugin.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> LT Settings>> Meet Our Chefs Section.

In this section you can add the Images, Title & content. In this section you can set the following points;

Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable / disable option.
Section Title Color & Font family Option: Contains title color and it's font family options.
Section Sub Title Color & Font family Option: Contains sub title color and it's font family options.
Section testimonial Title Color & Font family Option: Contains testimonial title color and it's font family options.

Setup Event Section

This section will show up all the events in a slider with Timer. For Event Slider Section, First you will need to add and activate LT Food Restaurant Posttype plugin for Upcoming Events and it's description. Click here to configure this plugin.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> LT Settings>> Event Section.

In this section you can set the following points:

Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable / disable option.
Section Title Color & Font family Option: Contains title color and it's font family options.
Section Sub Title Color & Font family Option: Contains sub title color and it's font family options.
Section Short Line Color & Font family Option: Contains short line color and it's font family options.

Setup Unique Dish Section

In order to proceed with Unique Dish Section,

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> LT Settings>> Unique Dish Section.

In this section you can set the Background Image, Number of counter to show, Counter Number and Counter Text. Options here are further described according to the sections they belong to :

Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable / disable option.
Section Number Color & Font family Option: Contains number color and it's font family options.
Section Title Color & Font family Option: Contains title color and it's font family options.
Background Color Option Contains background color options for specifix section layout.

Setup Blog Section

In order to proceed with Blog Section,

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> LT Settings>> Blog Section.

You can set the Background Image,Title & description in Blog section according to your site. Options here are further described according to the sections they belong to :

Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable / disable option.
Section Title Color & Font family Option: Contains title color and it's font family options.
Section Sub Title Color & Font family Option: Contains sub title color and it's font family options.
Section Short Line Color & Font family Option: Contains short line color and it's font family options.

Setup Make A Reservation

In order to proceed with Make A Reservation,

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> LT Settings>> Make A Reservation.

You can set the Background Image, Title & Content. Add Reservation Form by using the short code ( [contact-form-7 id="34" title="Reservation Form"] ). Copy this short code from contact form 7 and insert in the customizer. Options here are further described according to the sections they belong to :

Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable / disable option.
Reservation Title Color & Font family Option: Contains title color and it's font family options.
Reservation Short Line Color & Font family Option: Contains short line color and it's font family options.
Background Color Option: Contains background color options for specifix section layout.

Setup Happy Customer

In order to proceed with Happy Customer,

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> LT Settings>> Happy Customer.

You can set the Image, Number Of Testimonial you would like to display, Title & description. Add video by inserting video link in customizer. Options here are further described according to the sections they belong to :

Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable / disable option.
Section Title Color & Font family Option: Contains title color and it's font family options.
Section Sub Title Color & Font family Option: Contains sub title color and it's font family options.
Section Short Line Color & Font family Option: Contains short line color and it's font family options.
Testimonial Title Color Option: Contains title color options for specifix testimonial section layout.

Setup Get In Touch Section

In order to proceed with Get In Touch Section,

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> LT Settings>> Get In Touch Section.

Add the contact form7 plugin to your wordpress account. Activate the plugin and create your own form. Once you have done with this copy it's shortcode and add to to the customizer Keep In Touch section. It also have options to cutomize following things :

Section Sub Title Color & Font family Option: Contains sub title color and it's font family options.
Background Color Option: Contains background color options for specifix section layout.

Setup Footer Section

You have three columns in the footer. Each column have different element to show. Lets see each column on by one.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> LT Settings>> Footer Section.

First columm : These sections will be setup from the admin pannel widget section. Add Recent Post widget in Footer Navigation 1.

Second columm : These sections will be setup from the admin pannel widget section. Add Categories widget in Footer Navigation 2.
Third columm : These sections will be setup from the admin pannel widget section. Add Text widget in Footer Navigation 3.

Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable / disable option.
Section Title Color & Font family Option: Contains title color and it's font family options.
Section Sub Title Color & Font family Option: Contains sub title color and it's font family options.
Background Color Option: Contains background color options for specifix section layout.

Setup Copyright Text Section

In order to proceed with Copyright Text Section,

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> LT Settings>> Copyright Text Section.

In this section you add the Title. Options here are further described according to the sections they belong to :

Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable / disable option.
Section Title Color & Font family Option: Contains title color and it's font family options.
Background Color Option: Contains background color options for specifix section layout.
Background Image Option: Contains background image options for specifix section layout.

Child Theme & Hooks

Custom theme editor is the easy process for editing the site,if you have to add section in the site , you can easily edit in child theme it can be change in parent theme.

How to Setup LT-Food Restaurant Post Type Plugin

First, you need to download the plugin from the source (which will be a zip file (township-post-type.zip)). Next, you need to go to WordPress admin area and visit Plugins » Add New page.

After that, click on the Upload Plugin button on top of the page.
This will bring you to the plugin upload page. Here you need to click on the choose file button and select the plugin file you downloaded earlier to your computer.

After you have selected the file, you need to click on the install now button.

WordPress will now upload the plugin file from your computer and install it for you. You will see a success message like this after installation is finished.
Once installed, you need to click on the Activate Plugin link to start using the plugin.

Plugin Configuration

Once you activate the plugin it will create three register posttype namely:Team, Sponsers and Testimonials on the Dashboard. This plugin will help you to setup team, sponsers and testimonail Sections.

1.Team

In order to showcase your "Team" section on your home page

Go to Dashboard:-> Team >> Add New

Shortcode( "[food-testimonial]" )

it will appear like this on your front page.

2.Upcoming Events

In order to showcase your "Upcoming Events" section on your home page

Go to Dashboard:-> Upcoming Events >> Add New

it will appear like this on your front page.

Setup Navigation

First of all create pages from go to Pages >> Add new page.
Go to Appearance >> Menu
Click on Create a new menu link
Give a name to your menu in Menu name and click save menu button
Once you have create menu. You need to add pages by selecting with checkboxes. After adding menu list you can arrange it by drag and drop.
Select menu theme location from the below checkboxes

Posts, Categories and Post Formats

Adding category

Log into your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard).
Click the Posts tab.
With that done, click Categories for blog posts.
Type in the name of your new category.
After that, click the Add New Category button.

Click the Publish button.

Creating a Blog post

Log into your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard).
Click the Posts tab.
Click the Add New tab.

Shortcodes

A shortcode is a powerful content building tool http://codex.wordpress.org/Shortcode. Shortcodes are easy to use. First of all, make sure that the editing mode is set to Visual.

All available shortcodes are conditionally divided into these groups:

Gallery[galleryshow gallery=93 numberofitem=8] - used for Gallery images output.
Our Team[food-testimonial] - used to display Chefs team.

Custom Widgets

How to Setup Additional Theme Add Ons

First, you need to download the plugin from the source (which will be a zip file (lt-title-banner-image.zip and lt-gallery-images.zip)). Next, you need to go to WordPress admin area and visit Plugins » Add New page.

After that, click on the Upload Plugin button on top of the page.

LT-Title-Banner-Image

Once you activate this plugins you will find the below option inside each and every page,post,registered posts etc.

First, you need to choose the banner image that you would like to set on your post/page.
On uploading any file, by default, the title will appear over the banner image.

With the help of this plugin, you can hide the title if you do not want to display it on the banner simply by checking "Hide Title above banner" option.
You can even show the title below the banner image by checking "Show Title below banner" option.

When none of the options is selected and no file is chosen, then the title will be displayed in the default manner.

LT-Gallery-Images

Once you activate this plugins you will find the LT-Gallery on the Dashboard.

Click on Add new gallery button. And add the title. Add the number of images to show in a gallery.

Once you have done with adding gallery images. Use the following shortcode ( "[galleryshow gallery=93 numberofitem=8] ") to make your gallery appear on a particular page you want simply by replacing the gallery post_id in the Gallery shorthcode.

Thats It! Now you can view your page to see the gallery images....
