File Structure

The template package you have downloaded consists of several folders. Let's see what each folder contains:

  • Screenshots -contains template screenshot. Not for production.
  • theme -contains wordpress theme files
  • "academic-education-pro.zip and academic-education-pro-child.zip" -this folder contains all the necessary files for the theme.
  • "license.txt" -contains license details
  • "readme.txt" -contain information about theme images path, font use and usage script

Template Installation Via WordPress

Template installation is very easy process. The installation process can be done in two ways


1-Install a theme using wordpress admin

First thing you need to do is to login to your WordPress admin area. Next, click on


1.Go to the menu Appearance > Appearance Themes


2. Once you are on the themes page, click on the Add Newbutton at the top.


3. Click on upload theme button.


4. Click on Browse Button then select your academic-education-pro.zip theme and click on install now button.


5. WordPress will now install your theme and show you a success message along with the link to activate or live preview.

Congratulations your theme have been successfully installed

Template Installation Via FTP

First installed and setup your FTP program, connect to your host using FTP. You would need to go to the path (/wp-content/themes/). Once you’re there, simply upload your themme’s folder there.

Remember you must unzip the folders before you upload a theme using FTP. Once you have uploaded the theme, you would need to go to your admin area and click on Appearance » Themes.

You should see the theme that you uploaded listed there. Bring your mouse on top of that theme and click on the activate button and you’ve successfully installed and activated your WordPress theme.

Fetch Content through Run Importer

Import demonstration content with one click to get your theme setup.

Follow these instructions to import data.

  • Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Get Started >> Run Importer.

    Click on run importer button.




    • Once you have done with this you can see all the demo content on front page.

Section Ordering

How to Arrange and Reorder Section.

Section rearrangement basically means that to arrange the section as per our demand. To proceed with this section you would like to pull section on top or bottom wherever you would like it. After you can drop any section top or bottom your front read can alter according customizer values.

Follow these instructions for section ordering.

  • Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Section Ordering.

Fetch Demo content

This theme supports the default Site Identity section provided by the WordPress and we have integrated some options in this theme in this section.

Follow these instructions to setup Home page.

  • 1. Create Page to set template: Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> Add New Page.

    Label it "home" or anything as you wish. Then select template "home-page" from template dropdown.



  • 2. Set the front page: Go to Setting -> Reading --> Set the front page display static page to home page


    • Once you have done with this you can see all the demo content on front page.

Setup Top Bar

In order to proceed with Top Bar,

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Top bar



Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Header section



Follow these instructions to setup header section and top bar.




  • Add twitter link : This option allows you to add twitter link to the top bar of your site. Adding twitter link adds twitter icon in the top bar of your site.
  • Add Pinterest link : This option allows you to add pinterest link. Adding twitter link adds twitter icon in the top bar of your site.
  • Add Facebook Link: You can add facebook link here and the facebook icon will be displayed in the top bar of your site.
  • Add Instagram Link: You can add instagram link here which will add instgram icon to the top bar.
  • Add Youtube Link: You can add Youtube link here which will add Youtube icon to the top bar.





Setup Slider



Follow the below steps to setup the slider

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Slider Settings


    Setting Options :
  • Includes settings for Service display enable / disable option.
  • Number Of Slider To Show: Allow you to select no. of slider you would like to display.
  • Slider Image: Here you can set the images for slider.
  • Slider Button Text: Here, you can set the text to be displayed on button.
  • Slider Heading Color: Allow you to set the heading color of slider.



  • Slider Heading Fonts: You can set the font of Slider heading with this option.
  • Slider Text Color:This option allows you to set the color of slider text.
  • Slider Text Fonts: You can set the font of Slider heading with this option.
  • Button Text Fonts: It allows you to set the font of text to be displayed on button


How to set Courses Tab



Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Courses Tab



  • Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable / disable option.
  • No of tabs to show: It allows you to select No of tabs to show To Courses Tab Section.
  • Slider Image: Allows you to set the images to Courses Tab Section.
  • Tab Title: From here, you can select the Tab Title of this section.
  • Button Title: It allows you to set the Button Title of this section.
  • Button URl: It allows you to set URL in this section.
  • Tab Background Color: You can change Tab Background Color of Courses Tab section from here.

How to set up Looking For More Coursess



Go to Dashboard >> Courses >> Add new



Go to Customize >> Theme setting >> Looking For More Courses





  • Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable / disable option.
  • Section Title: You can insert title of Looking For More Coursess Section.
  • Section Title Color: Allows you to set text color of Looking For More Coursess Section.
  • Section Sub Title: You can insert sub title of Looking For More Coursess Section.
  • Section Sub Title color: It allows you to set the text color of this section.
  • Background Image: It allows you to set background image in this section.

How to set up Available Now




Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Available Now






  • Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable / disable option.
  • Top Border Color: It allows you to select border color of Available Now Section.
  • Form Title:You can insert Form Title of Available Now Section.
  • Form Title Background Color: From here, you can select the Form Title Background Color of this section.
  • Contact Form Shortcode: From here you can give Contact Form Shortcoder of this section.
  • Send Button Background: It allows you to set Button Background in this section.
  • Send Button Hover Background: It allows you to set Button Hover Background of Available Now Section from here.
  • Heading: You can insert >Heading of Available Now Section.
  • Title: You can insert Title of Available Now Section.
  • Text: It allows you to set Text in this section.
  • End Date Of Timer: It allows you to set End Date Of Timer in this section.

How to set up Our Records




Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Our Records






  • Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable / disable option.
  • Background Color: It allows you to select Background color of Our Records.
  • Background Image: Allows you to set Background Image of Our Records Section.
  • Number: From here, you can select the Number of Records of this section.
  • Content: From here, you can insert the Content of this section.

How to set up Our Faqs




Go to Dashboard >> Faq >> Add new

How to set up Newsletter




Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Newsletter






  • Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable / disable option.
  • Background Color: It allows you to set the background color of Newsletter section.
  • Background Image: It allows you to set background image in Newsletter section.
  • Section Title: You can insert title of Newsletter Section.

Go to Dashboard >> Testimonial >> Add new




Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Testimonial

  • Background Color: It allows you to set the background color of Testimonial section.
  • Background Image: It allows you to set background image in Testimonial section.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Latest Post






  • Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable / disable option.
  • Section Title: You can insert title of Latest Post Section.
  • Section Sub Title: You can insert Sub Title of Latest Post Section.

How to activate plugins


If you want these functionalities in your theme for which you need to activate plugin. Follow these instructions to activate plugin in your theme.

Activate Plugins

Go to Plugins >> Installed Plugins >> Academic Education Pro Test Types >>Activate.



When you activate plugin, you can see three more options in your admin navigation, i.e Courses, Testimonial and Faq. You can see this three options in the admin navigation of the image because the plugin is activated.
These three sections automatically appears in your website once you activate plugin.


Now, you can see these sections are added but contents are not there. For adding contents to these sections, follow these instructions.


To add Courses Go to Courses >> Add new


With Add Media option that you can see in the screenshot, you can add images to these section which gets uploaded automatically in Popular Courses according to the specific Courses you add.

Now, you can add title of Courses and description as shown in image above


You can add Courses details here.


Once, you start adding Courses detalis like this. This Courses details will automatically appear in your website


You can add Specific Courses image with this option of add images in Courses.


These images that you add using this option appears in the Image Slider of Courses Web Page as shown in screenshot below.


When any user click on the details button on Courses image, then the image like below will appear which contails all the details of the Courses you added. These are some screenshots.


In this way, you can set up Popular Courses.

To add Faqs Go to Faqs >> Add new.

Now, you can add Name of Faqs and description as shown in image below.
You can add Agent details here



Once, you start adding Faqs detalis like this. This Faqs details will automatically appear in your website,

Here, you can have a look of Faqs Section once you are done with adding Faqs Details.


When any user click on the read more button on Faq, then the Agent's Page will appear. The screenshot of the same is as follows.



In this way, you can set up Faq Section.


To add Testimonials Go to Testimonials >> Add new



With Featured image option that you can see in the screenshot, you can add images of Testimonials to this section which gets uploaded automatically in Testimonials Section.

Now, you can add name of the Person and testimonial here.

You can add Designation of person here

Designation:

You can enter Designation of testimonial person here.


With Featured Image option that you can see in the screenshot, you can add image of a testimonial person which gets uploaded automatically in Testimonials section according to the specific testimonial you add.

After adding testimonials, you see the same on your website. Here are some screenshots.

 How to Setup Additional Theme Add Ons


First, you need to download the plugin from the source (which will be a zip file (lt-title-banner-image.zip and lt-gallery-images.zip)). Next, you need to go to WordPress admin area and visit Plugins » Add New page.



After that, click on the Upload Plugin button on top of the page.


This will bring you to the plugin upload page. Here you need to click on the choose file button and select the plugin file you downloaded earlier to your computer.


After you have selected the file, you need to click on the install now button.



WordPress will now upload the plugin file from your computer and install it for you. You will see a success message like this after installation is finished.


Once installed, you need to click on the Activate Plugin link to start using the plugin.

LT-Title-Banner-Image


Once you activate this plugins you will find the below option inside each and every page,post,registered posts etc.



First, you need to choose the banner image that you would like to set on your post/page.

On uploading any file, by default, the title will appear over the banner image.



With the help of this plugin, you can hide the title if you do not want to display it on the banner simply by checking "Hide Title above banner" option.

You can even show the title below the banner image by checking "Show Title below banner" option.



When none of the options is selected and no file is chosen, then the title will be displayed in the default manner.

LT-Gallery-Images

Once you activate this plugins you will find the LT-Gallery on the Dashboard.

Click on Add new gallery button. And add the title. Add the number of images to show in a gallery.


Once you have done with adding gallery images. Use the following shortcode to make your gallery appear on a particular page you want simply by replacing the gallery post_id in the Gallery shorthcode.



Thats It! Now you can view your page to see the gallery images....
