File Structure

The template package you have downloaded consists of several folders. Let's see what each folder contains:

  • Screenshots -contains template screenshot. Not for production.
  • theme -contains wordpress theme files
  • "multipurpose-corporate-pro.1.0.zip" -this folder contains all the necessary files for the theme.
  • "license.txt" -contains license details
  • "readme.txt" -contain information about theme images path, font use and usage script

Template Installation Via WordPress

Template installation is very easy process. The installation process can be done in two ways.

1-Install a theme using wordpress admin

First thing you need to do is to login to your WordPress admin area. Next, click on

1.Go to the menu Appearance > Appearance Themes

2. Once you are on the themes page, click on the Add Newbutton at the top.

3. Click on upload theme button.

4. Click on Browse Button then select your multipurpose-corporate-pro.1.0.zip theme and click on install now button.

5. WordPress will now install your theme and show you a success message along with the link to activate or live preview.

Congratulations!! Your theme have been successfully installed

Template Installation Via FTP

First installed and setup your FTP program, connect to your host using FTP. You would need to go to the path (/wp-content/themes/). Once you’re there, simply upload your themme’s folder there.

Remember you must unzip the folders before you upload a theme using FTP. Once you have uploaded the theme, you would need to go to your admin area and click on Appearance » Themes.

You should see the theme that you uploaded listed there. Bring your mouse on top of that theme and click on the activate button and you’ve successfully installed and activated your WordPress theme.

Demo Content Importer

Import demonstration content with one click to get your theme setup. This content will guide you through building your website for website creation.

Follow these instructions inorder to run demo importer.

    Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Get Started.

    Before clicking on "Run Importer", first you need to install Multipurpose Corporate Pro Post Types plugin..

    Once you are done with this, you can see all the demo content on front page.

Fetch Demo content

This theme supports the default Site Identity section provided by the WordPress and we have integrated some options in this theme in this section.

Follow these instructions to setup Home page.

    1. Create Page to set template: Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> Add New Page.

    Label it "home" or anything as you wish. Then select template "home-page" from template dropdown.

    2. Set the front page: Go to Settings -> Reading --> Set the front page display static page to home page

    Once you have done with this you can see all the demo content on front page.

Setup Top Bar/Header Section

In order to proceed with Top Bar,

Go to Apperance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Social Icons

  • Add twitter link : This option allows you to add twitter link to the top bar of your site. Adding twitter link adds twitter icon in the top bar of your site.
  • Add Pinterest link : This option allows you to add pinterest link. Adding twitter link adds twitter icon in the top bar of your site.
  • Add Facebook Link: You can add facebook link here and the facebook icon will be displayed in the top bar of your site.
  • Add Instagram Link: You can add instagram link here which will add instgram icon to the top bar.
  • Add Youtube Link: You can add Youtube link here which will add Youtube icon to the top bar.
  • Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Header section

    Follow these instructions to setup header section and top bar.

Setup Slider

Follow the below steps to setup the slider

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Slider Settings

    Setting Options :
  • Includes settings for Slider display enable / disable option.
  • Number Of Slider To Show: Allow you to select no. of slider you would like to display.
  • Slider Image: Here you can set the images for slider.
  • Slider Button Text: Here, you can set the text to be displayed on button.
  • Slider Heading Color: Allow you to set the heading color of slider.
  • Slider Heading Fonts: You can set the font of Slider heading with this option.
  • Slider Text Color:This option allows you to set the color of slider text.
  • Slider Text Fonts: You can set the font of Slider heading with this option.
  • Button Text Fonts: It allows you to set the font of text to be displayed on button

How to set up Features Section

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Features

  • Setting Options : Includes settings for Our Features section which displays enable / disable option.
  • No of records to show: It allows you to select No of tabs to show To features Section.
  • Slider Image: Allows you to set the images to Our Features Section.
  • Tab Title: From here, you can select the Tab Title of this section.
  • Button Title: It allows you to set the Button Title of this section.
  • Button URl: It allows you to set URL in this section.
  • Tab Background Color: You can change Tab Background Color of Our Features section from here.

How to set up Business Goals

Go to Apperance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Business Goals Section

How to set up About Corporate

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> About Section

    Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> About Section

  • Setting Options : Includes settings for Our Section display enable / disable option.
  • Section Title: It allows you to change the Section Title of Our section.
  • Section Title color: Allows you to set text color of Popular Courses section.
  • Section Sub Title: From here, you can select the sub title of this section.
  • Box Title color: It allows you to set the box color of this section.

How to set up Services

The Services are coming from the posttype plugin, so for that you need to download multipurpose-corporate-pro-posttype plugin and then activate it from Plugin menu present on dashboard.

As services are being added, it would be displayed on the front end. To add Services follow the below step:

How to set up Our Records

  • Section Title: You can insert title of Looking For More Our Records Section.
  • Section Title Color: Allows you to set text color of Looking for this Section.

  • Section Sub Title color: It allows you to set the text color of this section.
  • Background Image: It allows you to set background image in this section.

How to set up Team

The Team is coming from the posttype plugin, so for that you need to download multipurpose-corporate-pro-posttype plugin and then activate it from Plugin menu present on dashboard.

As Team is being added, it would be displayed on the front end. To add Team follow the below step:

Go to Dashboard >> Team >> Add New

How to setup Testimonials

The Testimonials are coming from the posttype plugin, so for that you need to download multipurpose-corporate-pro-posttype plugin and then activate it from Plugin menu present on dashboard.

As Testimonials are being added, it would it be displayed on the front end. To add Recent Projects follow the below step:

Go to Dashboard >> Testimonials >> Add new

To add contact form shortcode for Newsletter

In order to add shortcode, for Contact Form, you need to first install plugin contact-form-7 and activate it.

Go to Dashboard >> Contact >> Add New

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Newsletter

  • Setting Options : Includes settings for Newsletter display enable / disable option.
  • Section Title: You can insert title of Newsletter Section.
  • Section Sub Title: You can insert title of Newsletter Section.
  • Text: You can insert Text of Newsletter Section.

How to activate plugins

If you want these functionalities in your theme for which you need to activate plugin. Follow these instructions to activate plugin in your theme.

Activate Plugins

Go to Plugins >> Installed Plugins >> Multipurpose Corporate Pro Posttype >>Activate

When you activate plugin, you can see five more options in your admin navigation, i.e About, Recent Projects, Team, Testimonials and Services. You can see this five options in the admin navigation of the image because the plugin is activated. These five sections automatically appears in your website once you activate plugin.

Now, you can see these sections are added but contents are not there. For adding contents to these sections, follow these instructions.

About Corporate

To add About, Go to About >> Add new

With Add Media option that you can see in the screenshot, you can add images to these section which gets uploaded automatically in About according to the specific About you add. Now, you can add title of the About and description as shown in image above

You can add About details here

Once, you start adding About detalis like this. This About details will automatically appear in your website

The About Corporate section which would be addded using ABOUT Menu on Dasboard will be displayed on your Web Page as shown in screenshot below.

In this way, you can set up About Corporate.

Services

To add Services Go to Services >> Add new

Now, you can add Title of Services,description and Images as shown in image below.

Once, you start adding Services detalis like this. These Services details will automatically appear in your website,

Our Team

To add Our Team Go to Team >> Add new

Now, you can add Name,designation and message given by your team members and Images as shown in image below.

Once, you start adding Team detalis like this. The Team details will automatically appear in your website,

In this way, you can set up Team Section.

Recent Projects

To add Recent Projects Go to Recent Projects >> Add new

With Featured image option that you can see in the screenshot, you can add images of Recent Projects to this section which gets uploaded automatically in Recent Projects Section.

After adding Recent Projects, you see the same on your website. Here are some screenshots.

In this way, you can set up Recent Projects.

Testimonials

To add Testimonials, Go to Testimonials >> Add new

By clicking on Testimonial Menu on dashboard you can add their Name,designation and image.

With Featured image option that you can see in the screenshot, you can add images of Testimonials to this section which gets uploaded automatically in Testimonials Section.

After adding Testimonials, you see the same on your website. Here is the screenshot how it will look.

In this way, you can set up Testimonial.


Child Theme & Hooks

Custom theme editor is the easy process for editing the site,if you have to add section in the site , you can easily edit in child theme it can be change in parent theme.

A shortcode is a powerful content building tool http://codex.wordpress.org/Shortcode. Shortcodes are easy to use. First of all, make sure that the editing mode is set to Visual.

Custom Widgets

 How to Setup Additional Theme Add Ons

First, you need to download the plugin from the source (which will be a zip file (lt-title-banner-image.zip and lt-gallery-images.zip)). Next, you need to go to WordPress admin area and visit Plugins » Add New page.

After that, click on the Upload Plugin button on top of the page.

This will bring you to the plugin upload page. Here you need to click on the choose file button and select the plugin file you downloaded earlier to your computer.

After you have selected the file, you need to click on the install now button.

WordPress will now upload the plugin file from your computer and install it for you. You will see a success message like this after installation is finished.

Once installed, you need to click on the Activate Plugin link to start using the plugin.

LT-Title-Banner-Image

Once you activate this plugins you will find the below option inside each and every page,post,registered posts etc.

First, you need to choose the banner image that you would like to set on your post/page.

On uploading any file, by default, the title will appear over the banner image.
