Note: The ‘Author Link’ appears as my name ‘Cynthia Morris’ under the ‘blue map’. When someone clicks that link, it sends the viewer to my ‘Welcome!’ page.
And there is no ‘Author Box’ showing for any of my posts.

The ‘Author Box’ should have this description:

Ok. Where do I need to go in the AE Pro Theme to set up the ‘Author Link’ (not ‘Author Box’) so that when someone clicks the link with my name (Author Link) in the post, they are directed to my ‘About Me’ page and not my ‘Home’ page?

I was given that answer once before. I did not do it, until I had IT help. When I had an IT person beside me, they told me not to do it. They said that I would lose key content in my designed website. They even showed me what would happen. What I saw would have been a nightmare!

So do you have another way.

Thanks. I think I found the single.php file in my AE Pro folders. I think I can work with this.

I don’t know how, but I’m hoping someone I know may be able to help. I, personally, don’t know how to get to the ‘black screen area with coding’ as shown in https://ibb.co/C7Rd0mh Can I use FileZilla? If so, then I may know who of my friends to approach. If not, how do I get to that ‘black screen area with coding’?

Instead of FileZilla, do you recommend I go through the host server? Is that the normal way? If so, what area in the cPanel should I go to?

Those files ‘wp-content–> themes –> academic-education-pro –> single.php –> edit file’ are not found in my cPanel.

I will try to find someone to help me with the information you provided.
